Advanced Optimization and Throughput

Why 400G Speeds are Necessary for HPC and AI

AI technology is only as good as the data that feeds it. Thus, you only want to feed your neural engines the highest-quality data, with fewer duplicates and minimal unwanted traffic.

All this data has to be processed at incredible rates to make your AI performant in real-world applications.

APCON is introducing two 400G products for network monitoring. Connect about our latest products and learn how they can help your business scale for the future.

The IntellaView Platform provides network monitoring up to 400G. The APCON IntellaView blades' aggregation and filtering technologies make it easy to monitor the highest-speed networks.

IntellaView Blades & EdgeSwitches

Incredible Power. Incredible Visibility.

The APCON IntellaView platform consists of the ACI-4130-E28-1, ACI-4130-E28-2, ACI-4030-E36, 4031-E36, and ACI-4030-E52 multi-function blades, the Optical Bypass TAP blade, and the ACI-4033-E00 HyperEngine Packet Processor blade.

IntellaView's ever-expanding platform blade portfolio can now meet current and future network traffic aggregation needs of up to 400G via its new IntellaView 400G EdgeSwitch blade.

This solution integrates seamlessly with aggregation and filtering technologies, supports advanced functions such as tunnel termination, and supports various configurations and use cases on 25G/50G/100G to servers, routers, etc., with 100G/400G uplinks.

Your team can easily inspect packets at a granular level for enhanced monitoring and security for high-performance computing volumes of data traffic, including provided line-rate L2 switching and L3 routing, deep packet inspection, and traffic load balancing that supports up to 52 x 400G connections.

The IntellaView 100G EdgeSwitch blade is a high-density 1RU system with 32 ports of 40G / 100G Ethernet capability, while breakout mode supports up to 128 ports of 10G / 25G.

The 100G EdgeSwitch blade enables efficient Traffic Aggregation, Filtering, Load Balancing, Tunnel Management, and Port Tagging as a standalone blade or as part of a larger visibility solution.
The HyperEngine blade supports up to 600G total throughput through six packet processing service engines that can be run concurrently.

The HyperEngine's new Licensable Features include:
  • Application filtering for 1600+ apps and 400+ protocols
  • Session–aware slicing
  • Pattern Matching for packets, sessions, or cross-packet
  • Traffic Shaping feature that eliminates tool oversubscription

New for 2023, APCON's ACI-4030-E52 blade is a highly flexible packet aggregation switch that includes the following port and density options:

  • 48 SFP+ ports capable of supporting 1G, 10G, or 25G
  • 4 QSFP28 ports capable of supporting 40G or 100G
  • The QSFP28 ports support breakout mode: a 40G port into 4 × 10Gbps ports or a 100G port into 4 × 25Gbps ports

New for 2023, APCON's ACI-4030-E36 blade and ACI-4031-E36 blade are highly flexible packet aggregation switches that include the following port and density options:

  • 36 × 40G or 100G front panel ports capable of supporting 40G and 100G QSFP28 fiber modules
  • QSFP28 ports support breakout mode: one 40G port into 4 × 10Gbps ports or one 100G port into 4 × 25Gbps ports

The ACI-4030-E36-2 blade includes a hardware module that supports the packet Deduplication feature.

New for 2023, APCON's ACI-4130-E28-1 blade and ACI-4130-E28-2 blade deliver multi-speed performance to data centers needing 28 ports of standard, advanced, or ultra-high-speed optimization. All of the 28 ports on both blades include Traffic Aggregation, Filtering, Load Balancing, and Port Tagging.

The IntellaView ACI-4130-E28-1 blade includes 4 ports of 40G/100G/200G*/400G QSFP-DD Ethernet and 24 ports of 40G/100G QSFP Ethernet. These high-speed  ports allow for precise network traffic monitoring. The IntellaView ACI-4130-E28-2 blade is an advanced version of the ACI-4130-E28-1 blade that includes a packet processing card that powers the Packet Deduplication feature with 400G of throughput.

Advanced Licensing options for either blade include all of the following features:

  • Protocol Header Stripping
  • Tunnel Management
  • Packet Slicing (supported at full line rate on every port)

For high-speed processing that prolongs the life of security and monitoring tools, reduces dropped packets, and optimizes storage capacities, the IntellaView ACI-4130-E28-2-1 blade with the mezzanine card is our most powerful option.

*200G requires a QSFP56 transceiver

The IntellaView Optical Bypass TAP blade is a fail-safe solution with six 10G, 25G, 40G, or 100G segments on a single blade.

This APCON solution is built to help your IT team achieve optimal network performance and uptime goals with automatic tool failover and failback ― keeping your network operational and available for end users as often as possible.
